August 29, 2008

We have added an announcement of a new publication, published by the National Council of La Raza, about Latinos in the United States workforce. Check it out and download the complete report from our Latino Community Resources section.

August 28, 2008

The National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange is conducting a survey about people with disabilities and foreign language learning. Read more on our Events/Announcements page.

August 27, 2008

For the coming summer (2009), there will be a study abroad program in Peru focusing on disability issues. Read more about it on our Events/Announcements page.

The "Resources" section has been reorganized. The biggest change is the creation of two new lists: Professional Development & Continuing Education, containing resources for Latinos with disabilities looking for employment, and Employer, Trainer, and Career Center Resources, that has information for people who want to help Latinos with disabilities find jobs. Also, the Government Resources, while still listed separately, are now also listed in the other resource sections when appropriate -- making it easier than ever to find the information you are looking for.
